Prevent downloading over metered connections
To avoid extra charges, you can prevent your tablet from downloading device software, such as
drivers and apps, while using metered internet connections. If your network service provider charges
by the amount of data you send and receive, you have a metered connection.
1. Swipe in from the right of the screen, and tap Settings > Change PC settings > PC and
devices > Devices.
2. Switch Download over metered connections to Off .
